Someone Made An All-Hawkeye Poster For Infinity War, And Its Pure Gold

A brand new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War dropped yesterday, along with a genuinely spectacular poster featuring almost every beloved hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Having said that, there was one omission from the poster that many fans were quick to notice: Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye. The eagle-eyed Avengers archer has been absent from the film's marketing, and now one fan has rectified that by making an entire poster to celebrate Hawkeye's status as a longtime Avenger. Check it out, below.

It does not take long to figure out that this poster is a love letter to Hawkeye. Using various versions of the character seen throughout the history of his tenure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (which started with Thor and will continue at least through Avengers 4) we see the array of costumes that he has worn, as he replaces every other character on the original Infinity War poster. It is hilarious, but it also serves as a reminder of how many other characters beat him out for a spot on the real poster.

Of course, it is also worth noting that this fan-made poster from Boss Logic gives a quick nod to another Avenger as well. Though it is not quite as easy to notice as all of the Hawkeye images, there's also a shot of Ant-Man straddling one of Clint Barton's arrow's, just like he did in Captain America: Civil War. One fan did eventually pick up on it, and you can check it out, below.

One thing worth noting is that Hawkeye's omission from the Avengers: Infinity War marketing definitely seems intentional. We already know that he has a role in the upcoming arc that will play out between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, and the little teases that we have received seem to suggest that Clint may get a badass new look and an entirely new identity as Ronin at some point -- which could explain the hesitance to show him. Whatever the case may be, it is arguably now undeniable that fans want to see more Hawkeye, and they will resort to creating their own art to make that happen if they have to.
